I have no idea what my deal is but I have just been crying over everything lately. Not like full on tears but that little sniffle and twinkle in your eye kinda cry. Especially during the Olympics! Today when the American women divers won Silver I just could not keep it together. Even the Olympic commercials have me sniffling.
A few nights ago I went and saw Fiddler on the Roof and cried probably 4 separate times. One time was just because the young kids in the play were so cute.
Good grief.

Today I went on a 4 mile walk. 4 MILES YEAH! (Okay I know to the rest of you that sounds super lame but for me that is quite awesome!)
Afterwards I jogged for about a half mile up hill and it was the most glorious feeling I've ever felt. I could feel muscles in my legs that I haven't used in months start to warm up. It was almost like layers peeling off as I ran. It's hard to describe but it was an awesome feeling.
Sometimes I really do find it quite strange to be a 22 year old with atrial fibrillations (fast &irregular heart rate) but that's okay. I think I was just born with the heart of an 80 year old man. ;)

A month or so ago I stepped on my glasses and broke them. Boohoo. So alas I need a new pair. Glasses are 100x cheaper online but the only problem is that you don't get to try them on. Cast your votes friends. I really only wear them at night after I take my contact out and on the occasional day that my eyes need a break. I don't look the best in glasses, so please be gentle!

For the Fourth of July my family has a tradition of going up to my grandparent's house and then going to Liberty Days. The night is full of dancing and then a firework display. We had quite the large crowd this year with lots of friends and extended family. I decided it would be a good stupid idea to start doing the worm during the dance and ended up being very sore the next day. Brilliant, I know.
The next day was my birthday and what an interesting day it was. There were no candles, or cake, or singing "Happy Birthday."
I opened up my present's in a parking lot in Salt Lake.
I found out I had a kidney infection.
I got drenched in the rain.
It was just a funny day, but I still loved it.

So now I'm 22 years old. In my short few years of life I feel like so much has happened. I've lived in 11 cities, had 8 different jobs, finished my associates degree at BYU-Idaho, received my Master Esthetician License, (just as soon as I get licensed in Utah!) and overcame some pretty tough challenges thrown my way. I'm pretty happy with where my life is. I am blessed with amazing friends, and family. I have an incredibly supportive and loving fiance, and I have an abundance of opportunities awaiting me. I think 22 is going to be a good year.
Bring it on.

Long Distance Relationships
Yesterday came early as Tim woke me up at 4am to take him to the airport. It was tough saying goodbye but we are so blessed for him to have this job that we are making the most of it. Tim is in New York City for a pretty intensive 7 week long training for his new job. Thanks to Skype and a week long visit in August it should go by fairly quickly. In the meantime I decided to come home to Colorado to be with my family throughout July.
I haven't been home since May 2011 so I figured it was about time. A lot has changed in my life since I've been home.
My cardiologist said that I can begin some light exercise this month so I am super excited about that. I feel like I have turned into a giant ball of mush these past few months since my surgery. Wish me luck!
